Culver City

Two of the three shooting days were spent filming interiors on the set at Desilu Studios (now the site of Paramount Studios) in Hollywood. The third day was devoted to shooting exterior scenes at 40 Acres, the backlot of what was then Desilu-Culver City, where Stalag 13 was set up. Among the other shows which utilized the 40 Acres backlot (locatged off Ince Street in Culver City) were Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C and the Andy Griffith Show. (From Brenda Scott Royce's book Hogan's Heroes - Behind the Scenes at Stalag 13! pp33-34)
