#1 "The Informer" - PILOT EPISODE  - September 17th, 1965

Overview : Germany 1942. Camp 13 welcomes two new arrivals - Carter, an American lieutenant who escapes into camp for processing, and Wagner, a new inmate who is actually a German spy. Wagner tries to expose Hogan's operation to his commander, Colonel Burkhalter, but the men cleverly discredit the spy. As punishment for his preposterous claims, Wagner is sent to the Russian front, and the secrets of Hogan's "heroes" - remain safe beneath the confines of Camp 13.

This show was the only episode filmed in black and white.

Camp 13 somewhere in Germany 1942.

Wagner shows Klink and Burkhalter the "fake" lighter guns supposedly manufactured by Hogan's group in the underground tunnel.

The gun turns out to be real.

Wagner attempts to open the secret entrance to the underground tunnel. The Heroes fake him out again and Burkhalter gets wet.

The ending credits show various still shots of the episode.
